Motion Picture Film Scanning

We are proud to offer the most comprehensive 8/16/35mm film scanning services in Australia. Using a range of scanners (including the industry-leading Arriscan XT), we have developed a suite of industry-driven tools that guarantee the best possible results when digitising motion picture film. We cater to clients with varying digital archive and restoration needs, working with large scale production and distribution houses, national and independent film archives and collections as well as independent directors and filmmakers.

Our clients include Peter Weir, Jane Campion, Paramount Pictures, Criterion, Rimfire, Umbrella Entertainment, Ronin Films, and many other internationally-renowned studios and filmmakers.

High-quality scanning can bring new life and new audiences to film projects. We have worked with major streaming companies inclding Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and Apple and can also provide disc authoring for Blu-ray and 4K UHD.

We have a range of scanning solutions to cater to any budget or timeframe, working with different scanners to suit your projects, whether they be high resolution scans for restoration or faster scans for large volume digitisation.  Our Australian and US-based team are trained film handlers with experience in film handling and conservation. We use and  develop film handling equipment such as film cleaners, rewind tables, and secure, climate controlled storage to ensure the integrity of the material we work with.
